It was truly eye-opening for me to read the extent of the interactions of the Vagus nerve. I am not schooled or trained in this subject by any stretch and can only guess how enlightening the book will be for those on that path!

The breathing technique of 4-7-8 is somewhat difficult for me. How did I not know about Box Breathing?! Everything happens for a reason. Because I’d read the book, my 2-hour MRI appointment felt like only minutes passed! Each of the 3 MRI views ordered lasted about 30 minutes, but the time experience warped as I concentrated on my breath. I was surprised each time when the tech returned after what felt like 5 minutes. I left feeling completely relaxed, totally chilled. I’m so glad I read the Guide!!
